Has anyone dealt with intermittent power window failure?

This is such a strange one and I'm hoping someone here has experienced something similar because I'm completely stumped. My driver side power window works perfectly fine most of the time, but every now and then it just refuses to go up or down, and then after a few hours or sometimes a day it just starts working again like nothing ever happened. I've checked the fuses and they're all fine, and I even replaced the switch thinking that might be the culprit, but the problem keeps coming back randomly and I can't figure out any pattern to when it happens. It seems to be worse when the weather is really hot outside, which makes me wonder if it's some kind of thermal issue with the motor or maybe a loose connection that expands with heat, but honestly I'm just guessing at this point. I live out near the ICAD area and I've been trying to find certified vehicle electrical repair specialists near ICAD Abu Dhabi who actually understand these intermittent faults rather than just telling me to replace the whole regulator assembly and hoping for the best. I really don't want to spend a fortune on a full replacement if it's just a simple wiring issue or a relay that's acting up, but I also can't keep driving around with a window that might decide to stop working at the worst possible moment. Has anyone tracked down a similar issue on their car and found the actual cause, I'd love to hear what worked for you so I know what to ask when I take it in.
